Little Hong Kong in Cleveland brings comforting Chinese classics to the table with a focused menu that delivers big on flavor. I started with the Roast Pork Egg Roll, which had a golden crisp shell and savory filling-rich and satisfying. The Spring Roll was lighter, delicately crisp, and the Shrimp Roll offered a nice seafood-forward bite.
Moving on to soups, the Wonton Soup was a standout-generous wontons in a clear, flavorful broth. The Egg Drop Soup felt like a warm hug, with silky strands of egg in every spoonful. For a bit more complexity, the Wonton Egg Drop Mixed Soup combined the best of both worlds-chewy wontons and rich egg ribbons, making it my favorite of the three.
The fried rice section gave solid options depending on your cravings. The Pork or Chicken Fried Rice was hearty and well-balanced, with just the right touch of wok-charred aroma. The Shrimp or Beef Fried Rice had tender proteins and a savory depth, while the Vegetable Fried Rice provided a lighter, but still satisfying option packed with fresh veggie crunch.
This menu keeps things classic, but every dish delivered exactly what I hoped for-comforting flavors, good texture, and solid portions.
